Created for La Vie en Rose, the 2025 Féminin Pluriel collective exhibition at The Warehouse in Dubai, Life Is a Party is a new series of six photographic artworks celebrating joy, movement and shared emotion.
The series continues my Rush Hours project, initiated in 2023 and driven by my fascination with crowds: the way their energies collide, rise, and dissolve into a collective rhythm. For this new chapter, I wandered through funfairs in Dubai, Paris and Sydney, captivated by their vibrant atmosphere, the thrill of the rides, and the simple happiness of reconnecting with our inner child. These sensations are expressed through bold colours and dynamic compositions that invite viewers into a playful, uplifting world.
Each artwork is composed of three photographs captured in the same location, delicately layered with the presence of a cloud. This subtle intervention introduces a dreamlike dimension, transforming familiar scenes into poetic landscapes where reality and imagination gently merge.
Presented alongside the works of ten artists, Life Is a Party formed part of a unique multisensory exhibition. Perfumer Dominique Bortoloni created an exclusive fragrance inspired by each artwork, offering visitors an immersive dialogue between image and scent.
Each piece is printed as a limited edition of five on matte fine art paper and is available in a range of formats, from intimate 20 × 25 cm prints to larger 40 × 50 cm editions.
