Layering multiple moments into a single composition, the work evokes the shared excitement of travelers setting off towards new destinations. Suspended between waiting and movement, the work celebrates the unique adrenaline of the journey before the journey begins.

Created in 2023 for the collective exhibition Beyond the City with Féminin Pluriel, Platform 8 was first exhibited at Kanva Art Space in Dubai.
